Collection: Ribera DOP Oranges

The company grows organic Ribera DOP oranges in various areas of the province of Agrigento. Production begins in the first half of November with the Washington Navel Risanato variety and continues, from December until the end of May, with the Brasiliano, Washington Navel 3033, and Vaniglia Apireno varieties.

It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, vitamin C, mineral salts, and sugars. It has well-balanced nutritional components, readily assimilated, easily digestible, and antioxidant properties, thus helping to strengthen the immune system. It can be consumed fresh as fruit or juiced, and just one orange is enough to meet the daily requirement of vitamin C.

It is recommended for use in the preparation of appetizers, digestifs, and in first and second courses. It is excellent in orange salads, desserts, and sweets. It is also excellent for evening meals due to its high digestibility.

The exclusive qualities of our Orange are essentially linked to environmental factors: climate, soil and water.

Two important factors related to the growing environment are the excellent quality of irrigation water, with balanced composition and low conductivity, and the absence of pollutants in the air and soil. Also of considerable importance is the unique conformation of the land, and especially the effects of the presence of the sea, which determine year-round temperature and humidity conditions that are well-suited to the ecophysiological needs of the orange tree.
