Maurizio Giurlanda is a Sicilian from Erice (Trapani) with extensive experience in the agri-food sector and a deep connection to the region. His career began in 1994 as a broker and representative throughout Sicily, specializing in food packaging systems. This work allowed him to connect with numerous small artisanal businesses, allowing him to discover firsthand the quality and tradition of Sicilian products.

Over time, his passion for food and wine and a desire to showcase his region's excellence led him to an ambitious idea: to build a bridge between small Sicilian producers and the general public, offering them the opportunity to emerge in a market often dominated by large industries. From this vision, BoutiqueGastronomica.it and TonnoMareMio.com were born, two e-commerce sites dedicated to the sale of high-quality typical Sicilian products, carefully selected to guarantee authenticity and flavor.

In addition to online sales, Maurizio has chosen to promote Sicily through hospitality, founding the B&B Passione Mare in Erice, a welcoming and familiar place for those seeking an authentic experience of sea, tradition, and good food.

A deep connection with local production

The citrus fruit and oil logistics are managed in Villafranca Sicula (AG), a town with a long agricultural tradition. Here, a historic family farm grows and produces organic extra virgin olive oil and organic oranges, respecting artisanal methods passed down through generations.

The oil is obtained from a perfect balance of two Sicilian varieties: Biancolilla (80%) and Nocellara del Belice (20%), while the oranges are part of the prized "Arance di Ribera" group, including several varieties such as Washington Navel Risanato, Brasiliano, Washington Navel 3033, and Vaniglia Apireno. The company also produces lemons, mandarins, and clementines, guaranteeing the highest quality standards, certified organic, DOP Val di Mazara, IGP Sicilia, and Arancia DOP di Ribera.

Thanks to our partnership with Calogero, an expert local producer, Boutique Gastronomica can offer an excellent product, the fruit of careful processing and a profound respect for the land.
